    hey

I am currently in my NQT year and am looking to move areas and hence a new job is needed.

I am beginning to apply this week. However, I am a little confused about the references needed.

One will obviously be my current school, but who would I put down as my second reference?

Uni where i did my PGCE past year?
    Placement B from PGCE?

    Thanks

  3. I believe you can use two people from your current school. One will obviously be the head. The second person could be a mentor, HoD or someone else like that.

If uncertain always ask whoever you are applying to for clarification- with NQTs I ask for one university reference and one from the current employer -i.e the head

  5. You can always offer three references, you must put down your current head/employer and I would also offer your final placement mentor (contact them to gain their agreement) and your university tutor - the school then has a choice. If they insist on onlytwo ask them which they would prefer.
