Can anyone explain to me how much NQT pay will be in September? (outside of London). I can’t find any figures for the academic year 20-21 online. I have seen figures of approx £24k and £26k and have seen the news of a pay rise.
I’d just like to know what to expect so that I can budget accordingly.

If the figures haven't been released yet base your calcs on the 2019-2020 M1 pay. Any payrise or increase will be backdated to start of September and you'll usually get this later in the Autumn term.

The range of M1 pay depends on whether, for England, if you're in London, London fringe (like Crawley) or not London.

This academic year, England but not London or fringe, M1 pay was £24,373.

You should agree you pay in monetary terms before accepting a post!
