NQT Contract

Discussion in 'New teachers' started by James_Williams, May 25, 2011.

  1. For induction it needs to be a paid contract that lasts for at least a term. The contract can be direct with a school, academy or federation of academy schools or with the LA. It can also be a supply agency contract where the agency supply you to cover say a maternity post in a school - if the post lasts at least a term - full time or part time, then you must be registered for induction. It is also possibkle to do induction in the private sector, but there it is not obligatory.
