NQT and payscale

    You won't go up the payscale by virtue opf completing Induction. No-one does.
    You will get pay progression through having been employed as a teacher, by an LA employer, in at least 26 separate calendar weeks between 1st Sept and 31st August of the previous school year.
    If you have been employed for all or most of the current school year, you will go up the payscale in September.
    If you have done your Induction in termly batches at different schools , in different school years, and have just been LA employed for this current term in the 2011/12 school year (allowing you to complete Induction), you will not progress up the payscale in september.
