Dear all, I am very confused I have just enrolled to complete my induction on short term supply and have a lovely EWC pebble login which contains 55 teaching standards which I have to evidence over my 380 sessions. Can anyone explain why all internet documents, TES support, etc don't list these exact 55? am I working to the right standards?

    Hmmmm. Odd.

There are 9 teaching standards. 36 if you count the substandards.

    Have a look here: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/teaching-standards-for-trainee-teacher-and-nqt-6442678

Are your 55 similar to the normal 9 standards at all?

The standards referred to are the Welsh standards not the English and induction is different in Wales. The majority of the TES information is based on the English model of 8 standards plus personal and professional Conduct.
