Notes in an Interview?

    Is it ok to take notes into a TA interview or is it frowned upon?

    Do you mean a job interview? I'm not quite sure why you would need to. If possible, I think you're far better giving all your attention to the questions they're asking and trying to give the best possible answers. Good luck if you have an upcoming interview.

    Having notes with you in case you need to prompt your memory over some specific factual point, or to remind you of questions you'd like to ask the interviewing panel, should be fine. However a candidate who needed to consult their notes before answering every question would probably not get the job.

    Sorry OP, I misread your post … I thought you were saying you wanted to take notes about what they were saying while you were in an interview!!! Agree with Rott Weiler.
