Not taught since my last placement.....

Discussion in 'New teachers' started by Truekumar, Jan 25, 2011.

  1. I finished my PGCE in secondary ICT in June 2010, but due to my financial situation at the time and being unable to find a permenant teaching position, I was unable to do supply work (not enough to cover my mortgage payments) and instead went back to my old job of working in a bank, but I really want to be back in teaching.

What are my options? Can I go straight back in? If I cannot find a permanent position, is it better for me to just start doing supply work?

Any help would be much appreciated guys!
