Is Nord Anglia a good chain of schools to work for? Salary/Conditions/Housing etc.

I’m thinking of the schools in Central Europe rather than further afield?

    Thanks in advance

    Phil

They have done an amazing liaison with the Julliard school in New York and a project with the United Nations. They are a global school. Pm me if you wish

Will be interesting to see how long this thread lasts. They do not have the best reputation out here in the East, with one shining exception, they tend to take over a school....move in their own highly money (making) orientated management team and education comes rattling along behind.

    10 Days!

10 days might be a bit generous Perce, (for the oldies among us) 'oil give it foive' - sorry that's meant to be in a Brummie accent!

I've only had two experiences of Nord Anglia. Once when they did an ITT for work from somewhere I was employed. The other when an old friend went to work for them (not as a teacher but management.)

    Neither were positive (allegedly.)

It certainly isn't. However I have never worked for this lot...I am just reporting what I have heard.....
Have a great weekend, unless you work in the sand.

I should say, the one my partner is at is a good one. I'm at a totally dodgy operation just outside the city. Not only is he happy but my children have settled very well. One even said that he feels at home and accepted not like his last school (the one at the top of the hill penang).
For us it's crucial we not only find a supportive place for us but for our kids. This one is good so far. Why am I not there, you may ask? Because I was hired first, for a new-ish school that only has a primary. My partner teaches in secondary and the two kids are in secondary.
