Non specialist trying to teach BTEC devising unit

Discussion in 'Drama and performing arts' started by hamstb, Jan 21, 2011.

  1. I'm a music specialist, trying to finish the BTEC Level 2 Acting course with no Drama specialist in school. Can anyone give me some hints for starting the students on a devised piece? I have 42 Y11s who are very mixed ability and do not have the Drama experience you would might normally expect. Any advice and practical hints would be much appreciated.
