Non religous whole school assembly?

Discussion in 'Primary' started by spoggle, Apr 18, 2011.

  1. Hi,

I am going to be leading some whole school assemblies over the next few months and need some ideas for non religous assemblies.

Has anyone got any good ideas they could share?

    Many Thanks

Loads here: http://www.assemblies.org.uk/current/index.php Some religious and some not.

Why do you need them to be non'religious? I thought assemblies were meant to be collective worship? A bit of religion isn't a bad thing is it? If it bothers you, you could always cover several religions over the weeks.
  3. Why not have a look on the internet for 'On this day in...' and link your assembly in with a world event?
