Well, that would appear to be the case. I guess TES didn't buy the "innocent" bit. Lol
On. Predictive text gremlins at work.
Yes, I thought it odd that having locked the thread, it was then brought to everyone's attention on the front page!
But none of it was actually rude or offensive - I've heard far worse on the BBC's I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue, to say nothing of Round the Horn!
Oh well - I hope it wasn't my poem that did it.
I don't post much in this particular forum but I stopped reading when all the puerile stuff took over. It's a gift to members of the general public who see such cringeworthy verbal doodles and want to bring teachers into disrepute.
I think it was pretty harmless though I wouldn't have contributed because I do find that sort of stuff a bit cringeworthy - but I can see how Joanne Public might view it...
I missed it. Damn. Right up my alley. Which is the passage at the back of the house.
No idea what you're all on about, as I've been getting '503 backend error' since yesterday. Not managed to see or post on Community at all.
Sounds a 'good miss' though!
I'd rather the public judged posters here on harmless innuendo than on some of the hate-filled racist type 'stuff' that we've seen of late.
Which thread has been locked?
So have I. On both Chrome and IE. Most frustrating.
No place for vulgarity in TES...
Why is it allowed to go then?
No backend errors but it's been very slow today. I've given up a few times when pages wouldn't load.
and that too. A few contributors should get back under the bridge for sure.
All the more reason for TES to create a forum away from the public gaze . . . . . so as to protect those members of the public who can't accept/compute that teachers are human too and don't actually live in a cupboard at school when the kids go home, if nothing else.
I am very pleased that you have said that, Red Quilt. Thank you!
Don't mention Back-end, for goodness sake.
Perhaps it should have been on the Entertainment forum
I see the one now. Harmless but overwhelmingly boring. Still boring isn't against the rules is it?
When I questioned the moderation - I was derided. When it happens to others you all sit up. That is quite funny to watch
