it'll be Christmas Day!!!!!
I'll shut the door as I leave
Christmas has been cancelled this year. Didn't you get the text?
I heard some people have been putting their tree up to cheer themselves up during the lockdown.
Takes all sorts I suppose.
There's a house near to us that have put the large Christmas star back on the top of one the trees in their front garden. It is illuminated at night.
In this case, I think mentioning Christmas in 9 months time is something quite nice to think about.
I thought this was going to be a thread about your lockdown conception antics.
9 months from today I'll be stuck in the house bickering over **** TV.
Before retailers start advertising for Christmas they're going to have to work out when to start the 'Back to School' promos.
Judging by the way time is passing at the moment, I’ll feel about 127 by the time it rolls round then.
Lots of people in my village have put their Christmas lights up to cheer everyone up!
There will also be a baby boom...
That thought struck me the other day too
Also, most likely, a divorce boom!
Not being the biggest Christmas fan I would find that totally depressing! They haven't started singing carols yet have they?
I think that has probably already started.
Meaning that 6 or 7 years down the line we're going to start needing more teachers.
Considering that no-one knows how long this situation will continue, I'd HOPE people would be being careful not to get pregnant -the last thing the NHS needs is for lots of people to be needing scans, blood tests and extra appointments-even if the pregnancy goes well (and pregnant women are high risk for Corona), someone getting pregnant today would need a scan in 12 weeks...though a friend has just found out today that her daughter is pregnant-she obviously conceived before all this, but is very worried.
What a grand idea about celebrating Christmas now.
The lights can signify hope and light.
