NHS in serious danger. Please Help

Discussion in 'Health and wellbeing' started by littleguide, Mar 16, 2011.

  1. As you're probably aware, the government plans to privatise the NHS in spite of objeections from the BMA, the Royal College of Nursing and many other professional health bodies
.It looks likely that we will eventually be faced with a healthcare system similar to that in the USA.
First of all we will have to pay top ups to get decent care and then we'll probably end up having to pay health insurance premiums (currently 20% of household income in USA).That's of course if you dont have any preexisting medical conditions and you are employed in a well paid job.
If this concerns you , please sign 38degrees on line petition -38Degrees Save our NHS.

    Thankyou.

  2. That's a very edited version, relying heavily on a crystal ball.

  3. Do you think the government's reforms will be a good thing, Lily?
