Next inspection date?

Discussion in 'Ofsted inspections' started by damoitfc, Feb 28, 2012.

  1. My school was last inspected in May 2010 - we were graded overall outstanding but not for teaching and learning!
The new evaluation schedule (Jan 2012) suggests we shouldn't be visited for 5 years - or at least 3.
We are now officially one of the 1000 - Outstanding schools with good teaching - does that put us back to the top of the pile? Does the 3 year rule now apply? 5 Years?
Following Mr Wilshaws consultation document is everyone back into the mix in September?
When are we due? Answers/Opinions greatly appreciated!
ps If OFSTED had arrived today under the proposed no notice rule - I had no deputy (Y1), no year 2 teacher (both out on First Aid training) Year 4,5 and 6 were all doing English assements/Mock SATS under test conditions and my Foundation teacher was on PPA!
