New resources and outreach sessions from the Royal Mint Museum (Llantrisant)

Discussion in 'Cymru - education news' started by RoyalMintMuseum, Nov 27, 2013.

  1. Dear Members,

I just wanted to let you know that the Royal Mint Museum has recently developed a cross-curricular learning resource called 'Coins in the Classroom' for KS2 pupils (adaptable for KS3) based on the history, design and use of coinage.

We are also launching outreach sessions for KS1 equivalent groups (Year 1 and 2) free for schools in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

If you are interested our resources are available on the TES and our website www.royalmintmuseum.org.uk. For outreach sessions you can contact me direct: Lucy-Ann Pickering (Learning Manager) lucyann.pickering@royalmintmuseum.org.uk / 01443 623337.
