    Am I being thick, or in most cases is it going to take a minimum total of 18 weeks (i.e. half a school year)? Tell me, I can take it!
    I know it claims you could give notice to dismiss after the first meeting, but how often could that realistically happen?
    And given the flow chart says these are 'minimum' time periods, it seems to me that this isn't really going to be any faster than it is at present.
    I recall Blunkett making a similar claim about 'fast-tracking' to dismissal in 1997 or 98 - that never transpired in reality, either.
