Discussion in 'Secondary' started by michelle mcveigh, Sep 6, 2011.

  1. Hello there,

Im leading a BTEC Entry Level 3 course and want to make it as interesting as possible for my students.
I would like to set up a registered business with my students has anybody got any experience in this area?

I beleive that "young enterprise" involves starting/registering a real company e.t.c. It also gets competative against other schools.
The teams need to find investors/shareholders too. Sadly though (from the student's point of view) I think that any company profits are supposed to be donated to charity.
I'm by no means an expert and I'm sure somebody else is a little more clued up.....
