    Given that the Arts are being squeezed out of state education I expect that our future musicians, artists and actors will increasingly come from the Indie sector.

    Strange to highlight Brit awards, in which the independent sector doesn't do particularly well. Compare the Bafta awards, where 42 per cent of Bafta winners were educated in independent schools; top military (71% independent), medicine (61%) or journalism (51%).

    Exactly, fg - I don't think "less than one in 5" is especially noteworthy.
