I recieved an e-mail (I marked English last year) saying that they would be sending out contracts in January, but that some people would be disappointed as because the writing element is not going to be compulsary they would be needing a lot less markers. They also said they would be offereing contracts to people who got the best standardisation scores for marking first. I think Maths remains the same, but have never seen psoitions offeered to mark maths. People who are maths markers seem to stick to it!
  4. I was just wondering the same thing.....

  5. I've been emailed and accepted a contract but was probably only about a week and a bit ago so you may still here...?
  6. Thanks paulie86.
Prognosis doesn't sound brilliant then. I was on the books for marking a few years ago but had to pull out betwen training and marking.

Which company is running things this year?
