    There are BMAT, HAT, PAT and ELAT standing for Biomedical, History, Physics and English Language aptitude tests respectively which are taken for students applying to Oxbridge, UCL, ICL and Royal College of Vetinary Science amongst others with Bristol Vetinary college likely to use the BMAT from next year.

    I don't think they should <u>have</u> to do a language at KS4.

    So, of over 100 universities in the UK, you were able to name 5 with these tests and one probable other.
    That hardly supports the claim that "universities generally have their own tests" (post 15).
