    I was hoping you had a good day and so glad to hear that you did. When you have pleasant classes it makes all the difference and supply can be a joy to do.

    Well done peakster. It is always a good feeling to have others acknowledge the good work you do.

    Wow, this thread is long buried by the ‘my awful day’ version. Are things still that bad?

    Many of do not get any supply days, good, bad, or indifferent.

    I think sometimes people forget there are 2 threads and just post on the one which comes highest on the first page. There are quite a few 'good' posts on the 'awful day' one in fact.

    Yeah...My Horrible Day has become the daily cup of tea in the staff room at 3.30!

    How are you? Are you thinking about supply again?

    There are quite a few opportunities for long term cover, but I suppose it depends on which subject you teach and you teach one that is quite specialist, so if you are thinking about returning, you should be able to find something.

    I am grateful for all those who have posted on My Horrible Day, and as Lara says there are quite a few positive posts on there. There have been people who have gotten well from illness, babies born, people getting jobs and other positive things - some sparkling classes as well.
