I always take my tree down on New Year's Day, as a kick against tradition and to help me be more positive about a new year. When do you take yours down?

Funny, but I read that as "my christmas tree has passed away".

Just cleared away all my decorations, dusted and hoovered. Good riddance. Although, I'll miss the twinkly tree.

I didn't bother with any, cos I'm a miserable old git.

So's Maleficent but she put decorations up and now they are down.

Well, it's artificial so I'm hoping for a few more Christmases out of it!

Mine went this morning. The rooms seem a bit empty now but I know that feeling doesn't last.

Mine stays a couple more days. When I was still teaching, I preferred to have it taken down before term started, but now it waits until about 4th January and then goes. This year's is a pot grown one, so I shall try to keep it alive for next year.

I have my grandchildren coming over on Wed. They can help me pack it all away.:)

Put my pot grown tree back out in the garden today. We've had it three years but I don't think it'll last another one. Got to give it a chance though.

Not until 12th night. I only put it up on Christmas Eve so I'm not fed up of it yet.

Cards have gone but the tree and outside lights will wait until husband is ready. Its his job and he likes them to stay up. Food is sorted into a) not opened and has a long sell by date b) opened and had better be eaten or thrown out soon.

6th if possible-I like maximum time with it. Or before term starts again-whichever is first.

That depends - some schools near me are back on Thursday.

Probably when I'm feeling better. Real tree only came in Christmas Eve so it's ok until the end of the week. I'm going to plant it this year as they always seem to dry out in summer.
Still got to wash all the linen.
