Music Technology at KS3

Discussion in 'Music' started by loree, Mar 5, 2011.

  1. Hi
I'm exploring use of music technology at KS3 and seeing what SEN pupils have in comparison to mainstream. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Is music technology widely used these days at KS3?
    What technology is used?

Am I right in thinking that the Nat. Curriculum mentions it just once in the (3) Range and Content saying that teachers must (f) include the use of music technologies to create, manipulate and refine sounds? Does this just mean the composing strand?

    Many thanks
