Multi-billion pound cash boost given to schools

    £2.6 billion this year, £4.8 billion next year, £7.1 billion the following year.

    The NEU is in the middle of a campaign saying that the budget shortfall is £12.6 billion and this more than addresses that. But I’ll believe it when I see it. Who knows what a post Brexit budget will look like as well.

    No it doesn't address the amount the NEU is campaigning for. The campaign is for £12.6 billion per year by 2022, not over three years.

    I wonder how much of the promised money will actually be delivered and, if it is delivered, how much will actually get to where it's needed.
