Another one gone.... Honor Blackman; the original Mrs Peel. She always sounded as if she smoked 50 a day (rather like Marianne Faithful who is apparently ill with the virus)

I’m sure some male members would also regret sad news about Diana Rigg... who is happily still with us ;)

Cathy Gale, before Diana Rigg was the original Mrs Peel.

Honor Blackman played Cathy Gale. Diana Rigg played Emma Peel. Different characters, different actresses (same show)

Diana Rigg had a great role in Game of Thrones and was superb in it! She also popped up in an older BBC show I black watched yesterday "The Detectorists" and was as good as ever. Much preferred her to Honor and the two of them hand the Linda Thorsen (sp?) replacement.

Ahh - I watched a film recently with Honor ( great name ) Blackman - really old. I reflected on how all of her co stars were now no longer with us.

Diana Rigg - total babe as Mrs Peel

You need to spell it as Sean Connery pronounced it... "Poosey".

I realised that too late. Will I get off with a police caution?

I saw her one woman show when she came to Manchester (in 1993, corn exchange I think) - a captivating and confident performer

I'm sad and I'm female. I love Diana Rigg too.

Sad as yes, she was often mentioned and seemed a nice lady- a little before my time so I am unaware of who she was.

Diana Rigg as Emma Peel was stunningly beautiful and she drove a Lotus. Ye Gods, surely that is heaven?

Freudian slip? Would that members of the TES chat room who happen to be men, or just their male members?
