Moving to Year 4: CLLD Phonics and challenging Numeracy

Discussion in 'Primary' started by sophb87, Jul 29, 2011.

  1. Hi there
I am moving from Year 1 to Year 4 this September and although I can't wait, I need a little advice on implementing a couple of different things. I am going to have to teach CLLD phonics and as I am going to be the only Year 4 teacher I am not really sure how to differentiate the spellings for spelling tests etc. I have also never delivered CLLD and so would appreciate some guidance on that. I also have a couple of children who are quite gifted in Numeracy and I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on how to really stretch them so that they a- don't get bored and b-reach their full potential. Any other tips on any other aspect of Year 4 or KS2 in general would also be greatly appreciated!!!
    Thanks
