  2. Dont be distraught sometimes a new challenge is all you need to galvanise your career i spent 5 yrs in my first school with a similar set up to yourself. I moved schools and a year later I was Head of Dept sometimes you have to believe in yourself when others doubt you. Have the courage because you certainly have the experience. Good luck. Try going on the leading from the middle course ask ur Head if theyre not keen move on.
