moving from satisfactory to good in teaching

Discussion in 'Ofsted inspections' started by jgsearl, Jun 28, 2011.

  1. Good to outstanding is often about tweaking. Moving away from satisfactory is more about basic principles. For many teachers, these basic principles need to be supported by a set of structures, guidleines and permissions that enable every teacher to be good, or better. This is a link to a short resource that sets out very simply the basic principles I have put in place in various schools to help improve teaching and learning. This is not exactly what you asked for, but I hope you find it useful.
