Moving from Linear foundation to Higher

Discussion in 'Mathematics' started by Jimmo, Sep 14, 2011.

  1. Hi all
I am teaching KS4 higher SoW for the first time - always taught foundation.
I am preparing a class for the November Libnear Higher paper and could use some help prioritising topics.
The group are C/D borderlines but I'm hoping some strategic topic picking will help...

    Any suggestions gratefully accepted!

If they are C/D borderliners, surely the best strategy would be to examine them next summer so that they have more time to prepare?

Agree! And if they are C/D border now, with 6 months of teaching they may be safe Cs or even Bs!!

And then there's the "should C/D borderliners do Higher or Foundation" debate...........
