Mothers day?!

    I am not a primary school teacher, but the best present I got from my daughter via her school for Mother's day was a portrait she did of me on proper art-frame thing (do not teach art either so don't know the technical term!) it was small - smaller than A5, but so sweet and cause it was on proper art-frame thing, I was able to hang it up straight away! Okay, does not look quite like me - however, what I loved and still love about it is that she painted me with big pink smiling lips as she said I am always smiling.. (and I thought I was always grumpy!!) - so just an idea!
     
  2. We've made biscuits before and peppermint cremes. You could wrap in cellophane or make a simple box or basket out of card.
