  1. Just seen another (even more patronising) e mail from them. This time telling me if I want to stay feeling the way I do, don't get in touch. I replied that if they wanted to help, tell me how. I wouldn't be calling them and if they truly wanted to help - less patronising messages would be a great start. I also pointed out that someone I didn't know was unlikely to cure me of 16 years of depression!
  2. Sounds nasty. I'd delete without replying if I were you.

Yes, I think I agree with airy. The PM I got made it clear they thought I was unemployed as I'd said that living on JSA wasn't much fun.
There's something a bit creepy about someone who targets people like this. I'd consider reporting the PMs to TES too - certainly if you get another.
  4. Thanks girls/guys. My suspicions were aroused when I did a search on said poster and they'd not long joined TES.
  5. Does anyone know how to report it? There's not a link like there is on here.

I've also had a couple of PMs asking if I'd like 'money- making opportunity' or life-coaching. I just replied politely saying I wasn't interested as I was also suspicious.
  7. Have reported to TES (Gail answered) and Bev AND e mailed back (after a further e mail from them) telling them not to contact me again. At all.
  8. Thanks Bev - I have taken a screen shot and e mailed it so should I assume it is now being dealt with?
  9. Hi
As soon as we receive the information required, we will deal with the matter.

I had a very similar message from someone called marknhopgood. I have no idea how to take a screenshot, but it looks as if they might be one and the same.
  11. How to take a screenshot
On a PC you have two options: Press the Print Screen (or PrtScn) key on your keyboard to copy the entire screen to the clipboard. Press Alt-Print Screen to copy only the active window. Next you'll need to open an image editor (Microsoft Paint, which comes with Windows, is fine for this purpose), create a new file, and select Paste from the Edit menu. As you save it, change the format to jpg as bmp files are very large.
Then send as an attachment in your email to internet_editor@tes.co.uk or help@tes.co.uk along with a link to the user's profile.
On a Mac: Pressing Command-Shift-3 creates a PICT file of the entire screen in the top directory of your boot drive. Press Command-Shift-4 to change the cursor to a cross, which you can click and drag to select an area of the screen to capture in a PICT file. The same combination with Caps Lock activated changes the cursor to a circle; click a window with the circle to create a PICT of that window. Adding the Control key to any of these combinations copies the screen image to the clipboard.
You should also be able to find software that can capture screenshots and save them easily in one go. Try searching in any popular search engine to find one.

I was about to do all of that but I see he's already been banned so there's probably no need now. Thank you.
  13. I have just got a message from Moonraker, now calling themself 'moonraker98', so we will think that it is someone else, trying to interest in a career as a door-to-door brush salesman.
  14. Hi
As above, to report a PM in your Inbox, you must take a screenshot of this, include a link to the user's profile and email us at Internet_editor@tes.co.uk or help@tes.co.uk.
Until we receive this, we are unable to deal with the matter.
