Monitoring the Effectiveness of Teachers and Teaching in Erly Years

Discussion in 'Independent' started by kathrynrand, Jan 25, 2011.

  1. I work in an International school with the EYFS curriculum. We regularly monitor the effectiveness of teachers in the classroom and check books for AfL or target setting etc. Most of our areas of focus are really only applicable to Primary.
What areas of focus can anyone suggest for observing the effectiveness of teaching and learning in EY (including a Pre Nursery and Nursery class)?
