Modern Languages teacher demand in the Central Belt Scotland! Is Primary Teaching more in demand?

Hello there! I was wondering if anyone is able to enlighten me on the demand for teachers of French in Central Scotland? I would like to teach and my specialist subject is Modern Languages (French, Spanish, Italian), however I read mixed reports regarding the numbers of students taking languages falling and consequently the requirement of teachers. However Modern Languages is still included under the subjects which have a shortage of teachers according to the government?

I am wondering if prospects would be better if I applied for Primary teaching instead?
