Should we have been notified by now if we have been selected for 'Local Authority' moderation?
The short answer is no.
The long answer is that you will only get 2 or 3 weeks (can't remember exactly but it's in the ARA guide) notice.
In our LA we've been told we'll be notified the week ending 28th May
We were notified in writing a few months ago (West Sussex).
We are being moderated, even though we have also been picked as a sample school to do the new externally marked writing test.
We have been told that moderation can take please up until the end of June & we will be given 2 weeks notice if selected.
I'm a moderator for our LEA and we're following the strict guidelines that were issued by the STA or whatever it is now. Schools can be moderated between April and June and should NOT be given more than 2 weeks notice. Sorry . . . you can't breathe a sigh of relief just yet x
