Feeling a bit grumpy so here we go:

My KitKat has partially melted in this furnace of a classroom.

    My lunchtime banana has disappeared.

Well in that case don't even think about trying to do any more photocopying this afternoon, because there cannot possibly be any toner in it on a day like today.

You still had a kit kat there to melt? Mine would never have made it into school....I would have eaten it on the way in!

Been lurking in my bag for quite a while and it's been just fine. Put it on the desk and it went all soft. What gives???!

There's a weird, unpleasant smell in the kitchen - but it's elusive. I only catch a whiff, and then it's gone. I can't locate its source. Pulled the fridge out from the wall and everything.

Also, my pointy brush for painting fine detail has lost its point and is all splayed, and I don't have another one right now.

Your classroom is warm enough to melt a KitKat?. It's been freezing here today.

I was feeling on top of things until I spotted a report deadline coming up. I hate writing reports. :(

    Sorry about the brush CK.

Is your fridge the kind with a drainage hole at the back on the inside? Sometimes the container that collects the water on the back of the fridge gets black smelly stuff in it. You can take it off and clean it out. It took me months to locate the problem the first time it happened to us!

Yes it is. I'll give that a crack, thanks.

We have this now and then and it's often a dead mouse behind the built in fridge. It's a right job getting the fridge out to remove the rotting caracas. It's the time of year when they start coming in as its getting cold outside now.

Is Gripes Minor one of the characters in Billy Bunter?

How ancient are your trousers? These days I've only got one pair of jeans with buttons, but I think they were only reintroduced for fashion purposes. I expect you'd have to go back to the dark ages to find trousers with a fly that needed to be tied.

When I got into school this morning it was 15 degrees in my room.

And someone had used the toilet and left a t**d in it that had the same dimensions as the Titanic.

No - but I've got a pretty shrewd idea who the poopitrator was.
