The White Rose Maths Hub would like to invite you to join us at our special FREE event for primary schools in our region - a Mini-Celebration of Maths.

This fairground inspired twilight style event will offer you a host of short, intense CPD sessions around maths themed topics. Join our maths expert ‘stall holders’ on 17 March to find out more about their sessions and sign up to two of your choice. This event will be fun - offering some Easter themed games and prizes along with some fantastic ideas - but also have a direct impact upon maths practice in your classroom.

Some of the topics you will be able to choose from include:

    • Bar Modelling
    • Place Value Counters
    • Maths Fluency Passports
    • Active Maths
    • The Power of Concrete
    • Mathematical Mind-Sets
    • Depth before breadth: What does it mean?
    • Fractions for Mastery: The Shanghai Way
    • Problems. Solved!
    • Mastering Times Tables

All you need to do is book your tickets! On the night you will be able to browse the stalls and decide on what you want to go and see. Bring yourself or all your staff. Enjoy the fun that is a Mini Celebration of Maths.

The White Rose Maths Hub is based in Halifax and tickets can be booked on the link below.
