She's from a long line of benefit claimants. You know the sort - plenty of children, big council house, broken families, poor social skills but still manage to provide their offspring with huge gifts and blowout weddings.

They've been going out for 7 years, living together for almost as long, are in love and yet, she was shocked at getting a proposal of marriage. She can hardly have thought it beyond the realms of possibility, or even probability.
I wonder if they'll organise it to happen before her cousin's on the 29th April!
we were living together for 10 years before we got round to it, and it was a bit of a surprise!
