Microteach - Psychology Interview HELP!

Discussion in 'Social sciences' started by Babushka74, Jan 2, 2011.

  1. Hi
I've got an interview next week for a Pscyh Lecturer post (AS / A level) which is to include a 10 minute microteach.
I've been teaching for about 5 years, but am changing subject (did my MSc last year). The microteach is on the experimental process in psychology and needs to have intro, activity, plenary and link to next lesson (all in ten mins!).
I've an idea to start with a small group activity matching common experimental terms with their definitions, but am struggling for inspiration for a 'fun' activity especially given time constraints. Can anyone help?
  2. Ignore the previous poster! I'm a Psychology and I'm still here! PM me with some more details about the spec etc and I'll have a think.
  3. I meant Psychology Teacher. My brain is still in holiday mode.
