Microsoft student/teacher licences

    Just had another email from one of my contacts telling me that MS are stopping the student/teacher licence discounts on Office etc. on 31st March
    Can't see anything on the MS site about it
    Can someone confirm , as I strongly suspect, that this is one of those wild-fire internet rumours with no basis in fact

    but that is the only place that this appears - everything else refers back to this on firm/page- and there is no link to the original MS announcement
    I smell, if not a rat, then at least another member of the Muroidea family

    this newsletter and this announcement on the Imperial College site - plus a few more.

  6. I know of one school that stopped enjoying discounts because they no longer met the MS definition of an educational body....
    LibO is the way to go.
