My favourite poet.I still remember somewhere he said just read a poem at the end of the day sometimes instead of a story.
We have watched him performing Hand on the Bridge and We're Going on a Bear Hunt so far this week as part of our performing poems week.
The children had already written their version of Chivvy.
    He is such an inspiration.

Some of his thoughts on writing and literacy in general are interesting.
And he's just good fun too!
