    Hi all,

The current data tracker I am currently using in my Faculty appears to be extremely harsh in providing an overall grade for the new AQA GCSE MFL specification. We are currently using 'worst case scenario' grade boundaries based on the previous specification's grade boundaries.

It would be great to hear how anyone else is tracking data in preparation or the first set of exams this year.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi andy191,
Did you get anymore information from other schools?
I have asked around and have adapted ours to 91% 9, 81% 8 71% 7 on the higher and 61% 5 etc on the foundation. This is all a guess really but I have asked other HODs.

When we adapt our papers or use another exam board we do look at the highest % and look at what grade we’d expect them to get and adapt slightly.

I hope I’m on the right track and it’s even slightly helpful!

I was on a course recently and the consensus seemed to be 85% for a 9.
