Two collegues organised the treasure hunt.
Basically 15 stations on the school field and around the playground.A picture and question at the station which would give each station a letter of the alphabet which would make up a word
.Each team given a map and a sheet with numbers 1-15 and they have to write down the answer to the question and a place to write the letter found in the clue.To win ALL the sheet needs to be filled out and the 15 letter word worked out (congratulations)
The pictures were of royal family members, corgis, royal places eg Buckingham palace,Windsor castle etc
The families could start anywhere once they had their sheets. The two teachers marked the sheets as the families came back, one family came back really quickly having run around the place but couldn't work out the word,so some skill was needed .The reat of the staff mingled and helped out.
It was a really good activity and everyone took part in great spirit.
