Merry Christmas to all and an interesting article.

  1. quite an interesting article, I'm currently writing an assignment on the use of craft in school art, craft and design department for my masters level part of PGCE. i would say that your right about the under use of DT equipment by art specialist teachers. however from many experiences i find this is because of the lack of networking and relationships between the art and DT departments in schools. on both sides!!

Maybe the report from the curriculum review advisory group (this week) has hammered a nail into the coffin of DT????

  3. Well i think you could be right. But the only real way this subject could now change is to look at the links across to the arts people.
Its good news (sort of) for the Arts people as the 'arts' are now in much more at KS4.
