Thats great, thank you very much. I've kind of touched on CBT in my presentation but I'll expand on it. You're right, I should be focusing on solutions rather than problems.

  2. There are some online interactive CBT resources such as www.llttf.com and www.moodgym.anu.edu.au which students might find interesting/ useful to look at. (sorry, not quite sure why my post has turned out multicoloured but can't work out how to change it!)

That's brilliant thank you! I'm going to use these two websites as part of my workshop now, they are fabulous! Thank you so much! :D The multi-colour cheered me up too.

  6. Hi Lara,
I've only recently come back to this site after a long absence so sorry I didn't see your message sooner. The See Me Campaign has a number of good clips to stimulate discussion. I've also used the A-Z of Your Head from Channel 4. There's also the main campaign from England but the name is escaping me just now........
Would you be happy to share some of what you do in your school? I am currently writing a paper on the teaching of 'Mental Health' in Scottish schools and really want to find out what is going on out there. Any info you have time to give would be gratefully received!

  7. Hi Lara,
Sorry I have only just seen your post.
I get lots of information from youngminds for schools, I run a mental health project in schools in Kent.
I have a 'Million pond drop ' that I made on mental health if you are interested in using that for an assembly it went down well in the schools as it was interactive and they played along.
Another great clip for discussion http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgpoCWVpEqA for thinking about how things effect us and what we take into adulthood or My secret videos from you tube really great for discussion
