Can meetings be scheduled to take place in allocated PPA lessons?

Yeees, but if you are on your PPA time you can not be directed to attend them. The regulations are quite clear, the time is for P, P and A and it is up to the teacher to decide what to do.

    As I thought.... Thanks Beck.

Why can't school follow these simple rules.... honestly....

Some don't know them (yes, really), some choose not to follow them (often encouraged at macho heads meetings I speculate), some managements are just useless in other ways.
In schools with good management and/or a moderately well organised staff (the 2 are complimentary rather than mutually exclusive) it is not of course a problem, some even exceed the minimum requirements AND give their staff well-targeted management time.
