Measuring for a lab coat

I'm after a lab coat/engineering coat. I'm sick of ruining clothes. I managed to get white paint all over my shirt today!

My question is how do women measure themselves for these coats? I can't get a good grip on what size I would need. E.g. what would a size 14 be in a lab coat?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Nip down to your local Job Togs and try some on.
Most towns/cities have a place where workmen get there overalls

I still have mine, a Kitchen white coat makes me look like a medic or ice cream salesnman, but does the job. Has great pockets too

My local market has a stall where they sell industrial type clothes like that.

Get a too big one and wear it with the collar up.

You should have a slim nickel spatula for the breast pocket.
