McCormac links

Discussion in 'Scotland - education news' started by CanuckGrrl, Jun 5, 2011.

  1. An advanced search on Google for the past week throws up some interesting links for "McCormac review teaching Scotland".
Angus Council's education commmittee report 2 June 2011 contains their submission to McCormac. This is interesting to compare with that COSLA document.

Love the first sentence in this report:

"The Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) is working with the trade union bureaucracy to impose £45 million in wage and benefit cuts on Scottish primary and secondary school teachers and staff."[IMG]

I thought the socialequality article was very well written and most sadly, agreed with the points being made.
