So want this to be as good as the first one. Go back to the 80s and less CGI and more focus on content.
(rather impressed by Tom's flying skills)

Gung ho, America is the best, look at me, twaddle.

Does he have to sit on a cushion so he can see over the rim of the cockpit?

I'd be more impressed if he was doing this:

Hollywood needs to come up with some new ideas. All we get is stuff rehashed, or superhero nonsense, or other prdictable rubbish over and over. Mind you, anything truly thought provoking would be beyond the understanding of an average American. Which war, caused by the Yanks, is he winning this time? And will he be married to a fat old Kelly McGillis with ten kids and 17 grandchildren.

Have you seen "I am mother". If so what did you think?

Introspective, nonsensical, navel gazing trash. Pseudo-intellectual BS masquerading as intelligent drama.

    IMO.

I'm glad I haven't seen it then. I think "The Martian" (still flawed, and America is best themed) was the best (American) movie I have seen in recent years.

Sorry! I got this confused with the Jennifer Lawrence movie!

The Netflix scifi flick about robots... yes that was very good!

Urgh... Ivar, give I am mother a chance. Don't give Mother! a chance
