    Hi all,

I have moved out of teaching (after 10 yrs) but now deliver engagement around the Police national Cyber Choices / Cyber Protect strategies and thought I would highlight the Matrix Challenge which is open to all 11 to 17 year old's in the UK.
    • It is free
    • It is a online platform and no prior knowledge is necessary
    • Split into two age categories 11 - 14 and 15 - 17
    • It is open until the 14th of February, shortly after this the top performers from each county will be invited to regional semi finals with the top 3 in each age category from the semi moving though to the national final
    • It covers 5 main areas - CMA 1990, staying safe online, steganography, fault finding in lines of code and cracking a cipher
    • Will take around 35 minutes to complete
    • Each student creates an account to access the competition (this data is deleted 14 days after the closing date, or 14 days after the semi/final if they get that far)
