does anybody have an idea where can I take my group of Year 7/8s who come to a Maths Stretch&Challenge club? Ideally in Hampshire or potentially up to London.

Hi there, we in the past (paultons theme park) have welcomed maths groups doing bespoke 'real life' activities. For example height of rides, speed of rides to links with physics such as acceleration etc. Could also look at data handling, profit + loss, VAT... there are lots of opportunities to see Maths in the real (and fun) world!

Any ideas for trips in the midlands?

most of the theme parks encourage mid week school visits with an education officer, usually details on their website. I've used both Chessington and Thorpe Park for Business Studies, but they offer lots of Maths too. I imagine that Alton Towers and Drayton Manor would offer something similar.
